Ah, good old Tim Flannel talking a lot of flannel. I wonder how many climate change panels he occupies?

He is still " a respected fellow at climate council", still promoting the rain as "change" , so has two bob each way these days.
The climate scientists predict 'extreme weather events'. Where does the recent rain for the recent floods NOT for that description.
It gets tiresome climate skeptics keep getting climate change wrong.

02:55 "In the next decade or so, if we are lucky enough to survive this period ...." (phew, we survived the decade) thousands of people have does from climate change related events 06:15 " ...we are on the brink of triggering a 25 metre rise in sea level .. So anyone with a coastal view is likely to lose their house .." (Says he with a waterfront property at Berowra) There are homes that have had to be abandoned because of severe weather. 25m sea level rise is over a hundred years period. It is happening.
06:30 " ..we have already seen ..... primary producers ... winter rainfall declines" This is actually happening. The 'severe weather event' that caused the recent floods is also predicted by the climate scientists. 07:20 "... carbon tax is the way forward ..." (ealier he said there would be no cost) So very true. Is we don't do something about climate change the current generation will have to pay more to fix it. We already see insurance premiums too expensive for some people due to climate change disasters. 09:00 "Australia is without doubt the most backward nation on the planet in terms of addressing this issue" (err ... what about China, the world leader in new coal power stations?). most definitely. China is producing more renewable energy than Australia.
Well done AreWeLost for pointing out that Tim Flannery is mostly getting it right. Unfortunately you appear not to understand that and the science behind it.

It's funny that you interpreted from my post that I am climate change denier. I'm not. I was just pointing out some ridiculous statements from this loon.
You chose to ignore those clangers. I thought the best one is 25 metre sea level rise and "So anyone with a coastal view is likely to lose their house". (Not their great great great grandkids losing the house).
Here is Nasa's prediction .... absolutely nowhere near the ballpark of Tim Flannery's statement.
Like Aust has a big part of it ? The whole world needs to step up . Find it funny how different organisations blame each other !! City people V farmers also . A few cows poop
In river . Yet we pump our sewerage out to sea . When I drive over the blue mountains . Whats that cloud over the cities? Yet country so called creat it ! Yea right !!
Professor Tim Flannery stated during the last drought a few years ago, that "even if it does rain...the dams will never fill".
I think he may have got that wrong!!
Collo.

Nasa's worst case projection is 5 metres by 2300, in 180 years.
