Jayco Starcraft, 2010, battery showing 14.7 V at the battery using a multi-meter. Only Solar panel connected.
With the battery switch turned off / up position the interior lights work normally.
With the battery switch is turned on / down position No interior lights work, just light up and fade out in a matter of seconds.
Turn the switch off and lights work normally.
I understand that the battery switch isolates the battery from the van electrics, thus when turned off for example, the van is getting no power from the battery.
If this belief is correct, then where are my lights getting their power when the battery is isolated ??
Help please, as I am almost ready for another run up into sth west Qld, desert country.
Cheers to all. KB

Is the switch upside down, as having turned it "Off", seems like their is residual power, and that is why they fade out.
