True story:  

During WW2 my mother-in-law was traveling on a Melbourne tram.

Sitting beside her were two American soldiers.

Sitting opposite her was an old lady with a string net bag bulging full with oranges.

The netting split & the oranges dropped & were rolling all over the floor of the tram.

As the old lady bent over to grab them she let out a huge loud fart.

One of the soldiers said to her "that's right mam' if you can't catch ém shoot ém.''
