All this fuss about Andrew's extracurricular activities with a 17-year old -
In my opinion the Royals are accused of acquiring their massive wealth
largely by theft from and exploitation of the millions of struggling peasants
throughout the Middle Ages.
i cannot find a 'hapeth of evidence that they ever did anything constructive
whatsoever that would contribute to their massive accumulation of wealth
and self-imposed sanctity.
I think that they should look inward a bit and cut the holier than thou
attitude and slowly fade away into obscurity.

I wonder if the Royal family could tap into an income of "Royalties" generated from the world's media where we are plagued with stories in the media entertainment columns. I often wonder why those reports are in the entertainment section.

Looks like the woman concerned has spent the US$695k she received as a previous settlement and now wants a top-up.

What I would like to know is why this is being treated as a civil matter rather than a criminal case.

Because she can't get any money out of a criminal case. Also the burden of proof is much lower in civil.
I believe she also claims they had sex in London but of course the age of consent there is 16 as opposed to 18 in New York State, mind you she looks happy enough in the London photograph.

Yes Mike, she certainly has not looked like she was being held against her will or being forced into anything she didnt approve of.
The law is the law and if the randy royal representative actually is proved to have been fornicating with underage girls in the US then it could cost him a castle and a bag or two of gold doubloons and pieces of eight.
On a completely separate observation, I am surprised as to how many girls that are claiming
No! I should not be doubting their claims.

his 'extra curricular activities' relate to numerous illegal activities that he was involved with. Thats why the court action.
if it was the old days of the british monarchy, he would have lost his head

Or maybe she would have lost her head, depending how popular the Queens son was the the people.
Or if as reported, the good prince sailed across the vast oceans and then proceeded to rape and pillage then he may face his own demise at the hands of another countrys King.

The Prince sealed his own fate.
He may have been well advised to say absolutely nothing. He damned himself in one of the interviews that I saw on Tv.
Without knowing all the finer details of, she said and he said, then none of us can be the judge.
One thing is positive though, it will cost him a big bag of money.

That's a very sweeping allegation and one you really should justify.

SoloMC: just wondering if you intend to support your allegation?
