Has anyone had Moderna for their 3rd shot after having Astra Xenical for the first 2.
If so were/are there any reactions.

We were told Moderna was not available, so had Pfizer after 2 shots of AZ. Had about 7 hours of sore arm, joint pain, headaches & complete lethargy the day after.
Still having headaches today.

Angie had her booster last Friday. We were vaccinated with AZ.
She got Pffyzer with no side affects apart from a sore arm if pressure was placed on the injection area.
An acquaintance got the Pffyzer last week as well with again, no side affects for him.
Is one booster any better than the other?
EDIT:
I incorrectly said Angie got Moderna. She has just got home from her morning walk and she tells me she got Pffyzer.
So sorry, I could not give accurate info on Moderna

My wife has had Astrazeneca twin shots and is having a Moderna booster today. I am also Astrazeneca and my Moderna booster is scheduled for end of the month. Just booked at the local chemist.
Will let you know how its goes.

In the west, first two were AZ, and booster was PF
I was never asked, which brand of jab I wanted
From what I read, so I may be wrong, Israel is giving a fourth jab, as they say three is not enough

My wife had her Moderna booster shot yesterday. They give a 50% shot of an original dose as a booster. My wife had no issues on the first day, and now on the second day, she just said her arm feels a little sore, but only after I asked her. So no issues and she is perfectly happy. Will post another update tomorrow.
We booked at our local Chemist online, and went though a booking process where we could specify Pfizer or Moderna, we were then given the available timeslots. They take bookings just for a Month at a time. I am booked for the end of January. Which is nearly 6 months after my second AZ shot.

I had my Moderna Booster this afternoon.
My previous 2 shots were AZ.
I had todays shot at my chemist; after some questions he suggested that MD was slightly better than PZ.
So far so good, I will post an update tomorrow.
Regards.

Feel bit ordinary this morning, mainly aches throughout the body and feel like I am getting a cold.
Exactly what my chemist advised could present within the first 48 hours.
I will report again tomorrow.
Regards.
Hetho.

Take Menthoids. M-e-n--t-h---o-i-d-s
Are you old enough to remember them?
It's good to know the booster is working,
Cheers.

I remember adverts for McKenzies Menthoids. Doctor McKenzie if I recall.
My wife felt a little fatigued in the afternoon, 2nd day, and had a headache. She lay down on the couch with an ice pack and felt better after a couple of hours. This morning which is the 3rd day, she feels a little light headed and fatigued but says nothing more than feeling a bit off. Impact on me was I had to cook tea last night. !!

Ha, if it has that big an impact on you I'll cancel her shot.
That's probably grounds for a carers pension as well.
Cheers.

By lunchtime on the 3rd day after the Moderna booster, my wife says she is back to normal. So over the three days she felt a little fatigued, and had a headache for a few hours. My Booster is later this month and she did say "It will probably be harder on you because you are a man". So I fully intend to take advantage of the situation and my spot on the couch is all reserved.

I had Moderna for my booster, but let me state, because of my cancer I had to have a full shot rather than the normal .5 to bring me up to scratch and was sick for a week, maybe it didn't play with my Chemo well but it certainly has turned my wife against it,seeing me like I was.

If she is in reasonable health, from the reports, she should be ok. Perhaps she can shop around for someone with Pfizer.
Thanks and good luck.
