I heard a story from the manager of a shopping centre in rural WA of the Aborigines using a shopping trolley to push back and forth over a camp fire in the car park in order to cook a kangaroo they had killed - true :)

I am unconvinced the Aborigines to which I referred are familiar with the high temperature properties of amalgamated metals in relation to their health issues.

Yes I've seen them used to cook many things from mud crabs, barra and roo.
The trolley is laid on its side and the fire is lit inside the frame with the meat places on top.
Roos are moved around on top. Remember that the roos in the top end are much smaller than the big reds in the centre
