Perhaps the inference is that the question is a simple one,and needs no more intelligence than is needed by young children at kindergarten colouring between lines.Just a thought,but Rob may elaborate? Cheers

I see that to present a poll on that subject on a caravanning forum borders on fairly childish behaviour.
One might imagine that he is learning how to use the poll function so that we may be bombarded in the future with questions to support his fanatical agenda on climate change.
Lets all wait and see.
Well it is in the I digress section.
There are many topics started by many people, in this section, that have very tenuous links to caravans.
Buzz whilst I agree in principle with your views on the climate, I don't think that quizzes and polls are a good idea on the GN forum. There are quizzes aplenty on the net, and polls should be left in the domain of the likes of Antony Green. IMHO.
This is a caravanners forum after all?
I may not agree with Buzzs approach or point of view on everything, but it seems this is the spot to place it. As I said earlier, many place non caravan threads here.
And hes not the first to post a poll here.

I just thought that I'd lighten the mood with a little quiz. That's why it's in the 'digress' section. I didn't think that I'd be attacked because of a simple poll.
Has anybody voted? I don't know if the results will show now or later when the poll closes?
You haven't been "attacked" Buzz you have been disagreed with and there is a big, big difference between the two which, clearly, you have to learn to distinguish between.

Well, as you asked Mike.
Firstly, I felt the comments were an unnecessary dig at what was obviously a fun poll. A carry over from other threads which are running at present, and which contain personal comments.
Secondly, as this is the I Digress forum, it seems its divergence from caravanning is irrelevant, because as I pointed out previously, many threads here have nothing to do with caravanning.
Lastly, whether you or I think it was a personal comment, Buzz did, and he didnt feel it necessary.
Unfortunately, disagreement without nastiness is a dying art at times in this place.

Galileo contrived the theory of relativity.
Einstein wrote the theory of special relativity and general relativity. (Possibly because Galileo had already come up with the theory of relativity he needed new names.)
Fun fact: in his theory of general relativity, Einstein made many theoretical predictions. Most, if not all, of these predictions have been proven to be true by experiments and observations.
It's was almost 100 years after publishing the general theory of relativity that his prediction of gravity waves was observed in 2015 by the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO). Einstein was one smart cookie. He made all this stuff up in his head.
Einstein's theory has always been proven right except at the extremities of the space time continuum. That is, in black holes, where the gravity is so strong that the mathematics fail and at the scale of atoms where quantum theory rules.
