Is this a statement, or a question? If a question, what do you intend to tow with it? If a 6x4 trailer, it will easily tow it, if you intend to tow a 25 foot, 3500 kg caravan, then no way.

Wecome to GN's Chris, It is usual to obtain the trailer/caravan prior to vehicle/tug - most Prado's have a capacity to only tow camper trailers and light caravans, as alluded to by Wayne.
I suggest you download (FREE) technical advice and checklists at www.caravancouncil.com.au/ to get some authoritive knowledge on weights and capacities with regard to towing.

Welcome to the gang Chris, enjoy here and out in the playground.
Please, make sure you research both tow vehicle and van before you buy. Prado's don't have the best tow ball weight or total tow weight. Nice car though. Really take notice of the ATM and Tow Ball weights of the van. If you are going to tow a van that is.
As we speak, a Prado towing what looks like a 20' Scenic caravan, both new, arrived here at base camp yesterday. The back of the Prado and front of van were weighed down noticeably. There were about 5 of us sitting around, social distanced, and all commented on it.
Hold on tight Chris, you think you might be confused now, just wait till this thread quietens down
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

2021 Toyota prado as a tow vehicle
Prado will theoretically tow 3000kg ATM van, provided you have towball weight of around 300kg.Rear axle carrying capacity is 1800kg,so you'll be OK there too,if you load carefully.Kerb weight is over 2450kg,and a 300kg towball weight will put nearly 450kg onto the rear axle,so you'll need to watch rear axle load.Downside is ridiculously short wheelbase of 2790kg,making the car inherently unstable.Personally,I wouldn't consider towing much more than 2500kg ATM,if safety is of ANY concern.Cheers
