I have 1 major degree, and 2 minor degrees, have mentioned and published reports and studies , used it as source, backing of statements I have made on the internet, and have had people also call it Bull****, when they are not qualified to state that, but lay people people believe his comment. So I neither try to back up my comments anymore. It is just not worth it. Their are more "know it all's" on the internet, then their are people who actually know it.

To write rude words the easiest is to bold half the rude word. Then click on the HTML edit tab & change
"" & "" to "<span> & </span>"

A friend once told me that university was a place where the siblings could go, drink booze and have sex as much as they wanted, all with the parents consent.

Iana, I contemplated that when I went to uni, but that's all I did, because I was married during my courses.

I am qualified in and have worked at the leading edge of electronics design for decades, all across the world.
I had a friend, also into camping/caravans etc, he would ask my opinion regarding an electrical matter and I would freely give him all the information and advice he wanted, he would then go home and ask his Facebook friends about the same matter and follow what they said. In the end I refused to help and suggested he ask on Facebook instead.
I often wonder, with these people, when they visit their GP and he says "You have X illness", do they say "I don't believe you, I'm going to see what the guys on Facebook say!". They probably do.... :(

Speaking for myself only, after I finished university with a BE, I was useless as an engineer until I had built up sufficient practical experience. In most cases experience trumps intelligence (no, that's not Donald's campaign slogan).
