WAW can you tell me what ping and jitter mean please?
Recoup I think I've sussed your problem. You are routed through Sydney, that place makes any small town in Africa look like a palace.

105Mbps was a few minutes earlier but it didn't show upload speed. This is in Manly & previously have seen Chatsworth exchange noted.
Hans, how old is your wall connection on the incoming line? We had all sorts of issues because they left the 5-7 wires connected. You now need only two.
Which 2?, got a techie, but make sure you dont pay, because it is I hope all their wiring.

It was going fine up to two weeks ago , then it started to drop out for 10 minutes , maybe 5 times a day. They are going to send me a new box so I won't have any more problems ,I let you all know when I get it ,cheers

Update Lots of dropouts , and today I got a parcel from Telstra ,a Smart Modem , hooked in on , worked ok , but still drop outs. I was unable to connect the home phone , it was searching than I tried registering , no good. I went on the Telstra help side to find out what to do ,big mistake , somebody said to do a reset on the smart modem ,did that and that was the end surfing the net. When I tried to go on a web side, Telstra SM. wanted me to sign in first ,which I did , but than all sort of BS came on , no idea what that was all about , I clicked on some and a KM long line of numbers came up , still no home phone and internet . Finely , I packed the cr8p up and hooked the old modem on and now I got the internet and the phone back on, but still drop outs.
I had the NBN technician here today , before the fix Download 46.86 Upload. 16.08 after the fix Download 37.59 Upload 0.76
He told me that I would have to get a new plan to speed it up a bit, but I won't have any more drop outs. A minute after he left ,my first drop out ,it came back on a minute later, next ,bang drop out. I hopped in my car and went after him , I found him on one of the NBN junction boxes ,told him the problem and I think he fixed it now.

Majority of drop outs are caused by faulty lines. . Also check sockets are clean and disconnect any sockets not being used..
Have you tried using your mobile phone as a hotspot?
It's all been done , the fault is somewhere in the line , I think Telstra needs to employ more technicians ,cheers
btw ,the last dropout lasted 1.5hrs
