Great defensive effort by that other mob at the dying moment. Bellamy, maybe the greatest coach ? , saw the writing on the wall before Penrith try however, he wouldn't watch.

Bruce, I think the Lions actually robbed themselves in 3rd qtr with kicking like , cant say it anymore, for goal. I gave up watching, plus with Brayshaw's commentary it was most depressing.

I don't really care who wins as long as Newcastle beats the tigers today...if they keep winning while their stars are side lined then they are going to be a threat to everyone when they reach full strength. There have been 20 serious injuries so far this round with some key players now out for the rest of the season - how much are the new rule changes designed to speed up the game contributing to the toll ?
I actually watched the 2nd half of the swans its was nice just to see them being competitive again.

Problem with the knights Wizard is that they have a a habit of beating themselves the opposition only had to be good enough to take advantage of the opportunities that they were given. We had a certain winger who probably should have played for the tigers he made more mistakes than the rest of the team put together. Anyhow that one is yesterdays news and like the rest of my fellow Newcastle diehards I will be there for their next appearance.
