Inguinal hernias a few weeks ago, feel like they have torn me in half the last couple days - very painful, on my back all day today.
Operation on Tuesday and I am told a 6 to 7 week recovery, so that will slow me down a bit I guess.
Lol, glad I got away recently for a little trip.
Take care when doing the heavy lifting.
Joe.

Hi Joe, hope op went well. Was it keyhole or slash?
Takes a while for the bruising to disappear, had 4 of the buggers over the years, last one in August. Mate had one keyhole, so much better with no bruising or swelling.
All the best.
Chris.

Thanks Tony and Chris.
It was the slash. Had the other side slashed too a few years ago.
This one was much more damaged, and I sure can feel it.
Unfortunately the nerve had to be cut leaving me with a palm sized area with 100% forever loss of feeling.
Glad it wasn't the next nerve over, lol.
Just a couple days since the op and pain getting bigger as the anaesthetic wore off.
On section 8 painkillers but they are only just doing their job.
So looking forward to the next few days to pass and get over this initial pain.
Was going away this week for a few days before the Easter mad rush on the river, but that will need to wait for a bit now.
I count my self lucky that from initial consult to op was only 4 days.
Joe.
