Must be bigger ones elsewhere in the world then because they said it was the biggest PV array in China - not in the world.
In 2001 we travelled out to the westernmost province of China and there was an unimaginably large wind turbine installation out in the desert and since then have seen plenty of others elsewhere but nothing to match that one.
Why do they need coal? Guess it is just a trick question given that most of the rest of the world has always relied on coal and a majority still does - and they don't have anything like China's population
