Stranded in a heatwave and all the challenges that came with it!

Heya, how did everyone else fare the heatwave if you were amongst it? I know Sydney isn't as hot as many other places in Australia so in that sense I know I was lucky but geez it was a pretty hectic time for my cat and I!
Not only were we stranded in the heat wave, we started running out of supplies and with Australia Day being on a Tuesday there was no-one to come diagnose Kalypso (MH) so we were literally stuck!
At least I learnt more about Kalypso (still have such a long way to go, I feel like I may be a newbie forever!)
Here's the vlog for anyone wanting to check it out!

We didn't have a heatwave over this side of the country, but what a terrible time to breakdown. Looking forward to finding out what the solution is.

I am also looking forward to finding out what the problem was
Although not a heatwave, but over Christmas it was fairly warm, inland in West Australia
Daughter had booked us into a farm stay, this was just a bare field, with trees on the fence line
What I found was that, it was cooler sitting under the shade of the trees, than the awning of the motorhome
We also have those (whatever they are called), things you soak in water, and then place around your neck

You mean a humble wet flannel or hand towel.
Or do they have a $25 microfibre+memory foam version nowadays

Could have been those, as they had something inside, but as I do not usually do the shopping, I have no idea what they are called

Hey there everyone!
Ah I use the flannel in the heat at night. Helps a lot!
I was informed that yesterday I would have a response re diagnoses however they are still searching. Hopefully by tomorrow I will know more.

Finally just got Kalypso back!! apparently there were missing fuses and she was working overtime to get around this. Yet again another Sydney RV issue as I havent taken any fuses out since getting her 6 months ago.
Still need to fix the other electrical issue so trying to access the fuses behind the fascia board of main switch board which I am informed just pops out with a knife but still working on that. :-/

You could buy a $1.49 500ml spray bottle and fill it with water, easy peasy.
