A farmer was pulled over by a police officer who was renowned for being a bully.

Your break light is out said the police officer. Im going to write you up.

Im sorry officer, I didnt realise, said the farmer. Cant you just give me a warning? Ill head straight to the mechanic to fix it.

Now listen here the police officer launched into a long lecture, intent on making the farmer feel bad.

Finally, the officer got around to writing out the ticket, and as he was doing that he kept swatting at some flies that were buzzing around his head.

The farmer said: Having some problems with circle flies there, are ya?

The officer stopped writing the ticket and said: Well yeah, if thats what they are, but I never heard of circle flies.

The farmer said: Well, circle flies are common on farms. See, theyre called circle flies because theyre almost always found circling around the back end of a horse.

The officer answered, Oh, and went back to writing the ticket. Then after a minute he stopped and said: Hey wait a minute, are you trying to call me a horses ass?

The farmer replied: Oh no, officer. I have too much respect for law enforcement and police officers to even think about calling you a horses ass.

The officer said: Well, thats a good thing, and went back to writing the ticket.

After a long pause, the farmer muttered: Hard to fool them flies though
