bgt, I'm not relying on media to tell me Trump has been crying foul and suggesting he may not make way. The same with his supporters crying foul. He has made public statements published in full (and some self-published on sicial media). His supporters have been filmed claiming foul play and vowing to physically defend the Whitehouse grounds. True the media reported much of this but they didn't fake video, edit statements and make up stories. You have been blinkered too long.

The coverage and the commentary of the US elections by "Their ABC" has been totally biased and misleading. Dabbler I stand by what I said simply because we are ALL only going by what the media is telling us. We know most, if not all, the media needs to sell headlines. We know most, if not all, media is some what biased. Unless you or I are standing in the room with Trump we are only taking notice of the media otherwise how do we know anything? We see it through the media. So did Trump throw a tantrum or not? Will Trump lock himself in the oval office or not? Who knows and who really cares?
How can I make this very clear for those who want to read between the lines and interpret what I say as meaning something else. Oh yes that happens all the time. Here on this form and on other forums. I need to know what magical powers folks have that interpret what other folks say to mean something other than what they actually said.
So here goes. Trump isn't the sharpest tool in the tool box when it comes to communication skills. Nor is Biden. But I only know that because I saw it in the media. And we know the media is biased. The American election wasn't so much about the Democrats v the Republicans. And again, thanks to the media, it became a 'get rid of Trump' election. Where's the reporting of policies from both sides? No we are busy talking about Trump throwing tantrums and Biden falling asleep. Where's the reporting of the senate numbers. No the headlines are about Trump playing golf.
And one more go at making myself clear. I dislike Trump. I like Biden. But only because of what I see in the media. But the fault here is that I'm talking about just 2 men out a population of 340 million. Shouldn't we be talking about their policies and not their personalities? And shouldn't I be voting for their policies and not their personalities?
Now read between my lines. Who would I have voted for and what are my biases?
And what did I say between line 4 and line 5?

A big load of votes was then discovered and Biden went ahead with all the votes going to his party. During this counting process the Democrat scrutineers would not allow access to the Republican scrutineers. I followed this with interest on both American ABC and NBC.
There are at least 70 million people in the USA that need to be convinced that all was above board. I think when this lot hits their Supreme Court that we may find this election is far from decided.

No bgt, we aren't all going by what the media tells us. I assume you're an intelligent person and can determine facts from opinion (I can). I assume you read and view different sources (I do). If you don't have these skills, might I suggest you develop them and not blame the media for your inability to tell wheat from chaff. It's a popular pastime that says more about the person making the statement than the media itself. The fact remains that Trump and his supporters, like every modern political agents, self publish using social media. Traditional media doesn't have to tell me what Trump says or thinks, he does it himself. You can't fake a tweet/post purporting to be from a well known person for long, That person will deny it very quickly and Trump himself is famous for calling out misrepresentations of his words and actions. No one but the author can edit a tweet/post. If a reporter paraphrases a tweet/post, go to the source Trump has tweeted several times he will fight tooth and nail against his country's democratic process. His supporters have tweeted they will take up arms around the White House to stop Trump being removed. It's obvious you're a Trump fan, don't you follow him on social media ? Now, I would never vote for Trump. The ladies in my family would never forgive me. The non-causians in my family would never forgive me. My US Republican friends would never forgive me I would never forgive myself. Would I vote for Biden ? If it meant removing Trump asy President, certainly.There is nothing between lines 4 and 5. "So what happened? In states like the three we're talking about here, the election day vote got reported first. In other words, the first results you saw were disproportionately those cast on the day, and therefore, disproportionately favourable to Mr Trump."
"This made the President's support appear stronger than it actually was. It was a "red mirage"."
"Then, gradually throughout the night, the mail vote trickled in, and with it, the batch of results disproportionately favourable to Mr Biden."
"This phenomenon didn't just affect Mr Trump last night. We actually saw the exact opposite thing happen in states that did allow officials to count mail-in ballots ahead of time, the best examples being Florida and North Carolina."
"Both states reported their mail votes first, and Mr Biden jumped out to a healthy early lead in each of them."

And no I don't follow him on social media. As I pointed out you are again reading between the lines. Without being on the scene you are relying on media of some form to get your information. That's my point.
It seems that regardless of what I say you have jumped to an incorrect conclusion and at this point I give up.
