Good to be back! I am now hoping to sell up and get a rig worthy of taking on the terrains I intend to travel. It will be 4WD vehicle of some kind. I visited the Virtual Victorian Caravan& Camping Show but felt the Adria type Motorhome with only a 2.2Litre turbo diesel to be somewhat underpowered. My present Hiace has a 2.7Ltr engine which appears to be the minimum needed to satisfactorily and reliably power a home on wheels. My first was a 1800cc Toyota Sunliner which caused endless summer traffic jams due to its inability to take on steep hills! It eventually died in the bud and I had a reno engine fitted. To my utter dismay, it was worse than the original motor and ended up blowing a gasket. I had to give it the chop and lost money on it!
Just one question afore I exit temporarily. How do I put up an ad in the Forum to sell my home? I can't find any directions as to how to do that.
Cheers and Happy Trails

Welcome back to the gang hattonhall.
If you contact 'Webmaster' Cindy can arrange an add to go in the Classified page of the GN Website. Just sign in to the forum and click on 'Webmaster' then send her a message.
I registered to have a look at the virtual CV show as well but didn't like it at all really so didn't bother after about 30 mins. If you were looking for a van or similar it might have been Ok though.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.
