I dont see any posts actually wishing them harm Bruce. I must admit I havent seen the Qld deputies comments, but see no hate in the comments here from others.

Your joking yourself, right bgt ? Unless you don't count Trump as a politician. Trump himself suggested injections of bleach could work. It was later claimed he was being sarcastic. Never mind the obvious dangers. What's sauce to the goose is sauce for the gander. Steven Miles might have thought twice before making the comment but I'll bet a good number if people thought exactly the same thing. Matt Carnavan is making hay atm and not only condemning Miles but actually criticizing medical scientists for not listening to Trump and dismissing anything he has says outright. Fancy that, a conservative pollie critical of people who are more knowledgeable than themselves.

This thread should be deleted. Or are some political threads more equal than others?
Trump has many faults for sure but he has given the "political class" a boot up the backside and reminded them they do not own the country or have a born right to rule, just as Brexit has, now we need similar in Australia. Take a look at Dan Andrews job history - not a single proper job in it.

Mike it's typical of those on the left of politics. They yell and scream about all things PC but close both eyes, and ears, when the boots on the other foot. Its double standards. They only read and interpret words in a way that suits them. A number of the first posts in this thread were obviously negative towards Trumps health. Yet "nothing to see here" was the response. Maybe they have the Andrews disease. "I know nothing".
I'm no fan of Trump. He's not a politician. He lacks any sense of diplomacy. But he's human. He doesn't deserve the vile attacks. No one should attack politicians in a personal manner. Sure attack their policies. But wishing anyone ill is imply not on.

I wonder if Trump will continue to claim that the Virus is a hoax, and that a miracle is just around the corner. I wish no ill-will towards him and see the situation as an example of Karma catching up and restoring some balance in the world.
