A long time ago someone I worked with had a red Honda City. Parking in North Sydney was a nightmare. As soon as the council ranger had chalked the tyres down the street we rubbed it off. The ranger couldn't cope, he was determined to fine the red car. He marked the gutter, put out of sight chalk marks on the tyres.
We could view the street easily & would move the car half a metre & remove the hidden chalk.
It was driving the ranger mental, he was determined to fine the red car.
One day he chalked the red car & he continued down the street chalking cars. An identical model Honda in red happed to park in the space behind.
Half an hour later the ranger returned, chalk gone, & two identical red cars. He was standing there scratching his head trying to work out which one he had chalked, having a frozen meltdown over these two identical cars.
He just couldn't cope & walked off completely destroyed & also didn't check any other cars in the street.
It was brilliant, the ranger had a breakdown over two identical red cars & we didn't see him in the street for about a week.

I had a boss who liked a drink at the local on the way home from work, so his car was often parked at the back of the pub. One afternoon he was driving his blue Sigma wagon out of the pub driveway when a bloke came screaming out of the pub yelling at him to get out of his car. He said "No this is my car" and the other bloke said "No it's mine!". He looked in the rear view mirror and saw another blue Sigma wagon in the carpark. He told the guy that his car was back there. He was in his own car because the key fitted & started the car. The other bloke informed him that wasn't his number plate on that car. Turns out the cars were identical, and had the same keys.

More identical cars, I had a white Toyota Camry company car, was picking up the mail from the post box. Walked back to the car while looking at the envelopes. Unlocked the car, got in, started it & was just about to drive off.
My briefcase had vanished from the seat & the car didn't feel quite right. Then while looking around the car by chance I saw an identical Camry in the mirror. It took a few moments, but then I realised that my car was parked behind.
Feeling guilty, I turned the engine off, I quickly got out, locked the car & quickly went to the other car. That was my car!
