Hi all we have been watching you all for about 12 months now,our first time on any forum-not on social media-don't know how.
nearly completed a refit of a 97 Coaster from the ground up,still need some security and a paint job,so 95% done.
Both have just pulled the pin, took the coaster from the Central Coast, home base,up to central QLD down the east coast past Phillip Island round the bottom of Vic up through Albury,Canberra and the mountains decided yes we like the idea so kitted the bus out.
So here we are love The Grey Nomad Mag and hope to enjoy all thats left and look forward to meeting you in our travels.
Greg and Ruby.

Again hi,thanks for the welcome,as we did the build we also kept an eye out as Ruby is a little concerned with the security aspect so we did a few short runs-I say to test the new gear-but mainly to have a chat to others on the road.so some areas its parks, some its free camping but mostly I notice if there is a showground nearby thats where I am directed to go,usually the right choice-of course she's right. It is an eye opener but learning how to sus out those special little places that only the only know.
again thanks.

Greg you can obtain an App called Wikicamps, $10 for a life time www.wikicamps.com.au/ which lists all the free and low cost camp areas. There is also a book Called Camps 10 www.campsaustraliawide.com/shop-direct-and-save/ this advises camping areas along with Hema maps to assist you in planning your trips.
