Hi all, I am a retired guy (72) so maybe starting my run a bit late. I am trying to sell my home in a retirement village and when that happens, I will hit the road. I have a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander and plan on buying a smallish caravan. In the meantime, I will be learning what I can as I have never dragged a van about before. Any idea if my Outlander with a 2.0litre petrol engine will do the job?

Welcome to the gang Tony, enjoy here and out in the playground.
Can I suggest you firstly read through the Outlanders owners manual to see all the allowable weights and max towing capacity and it's tow bar capacity if it has one on already. Next, start researching caravans of a suitable size making sure the ATM (Maximum loaded weight of van) of each van is suitable to your car. That's a big start.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.
