I like many of you, at times escape into the fantasy of "" I DREAM THE DREAM "" and yes Saturday night's lotto is till on my bucket list.
I like what Charlie Brown has to say below.
I notice that C.B. even has the big brown bag ready for the $$$$$

In my case it would have to be a miracle/dream.
I have never brought a lotto ticket & having read a bit of statistics/probability, I never will.
Although I must admit to sometimes dreaming of how I would split up 50mil. eg $10M to each of my two children, $1M to each of my 3 surviving siblings & $1/2M to each of the partners of my 2 departed siblings. That leaves us about half to waste. Tell you one thing though, not a cent would be spent on cruises!
Perhaps I'd even take a long & detailed look for a suitable charity or research project to assist, $5M or so but I don't trust the biggies, & none of the Churches except maybe The Salvo's.

I have never bought a lottery ticket. For argument sake if one won $5m you really need to think carefully how you spend it as it will run out quicker than you think. Better off investing it & living off the returns. These days not a lot!

I don't buy lotto tickets. Though I do get given a few scratchies occasionally. Got a whole $10 on one I was given for mother's day. Like Cupie I would help the kids (pay off their mortgages). I think if you haven't a mortgage hanging over your head that gives you money to spend and save. No cruise for me either; I can get motion sickness going up the Brisbane river on the City Cat. That is a nice trip if you ever happen to be holidaying in Brisbane. On a whole I am happy with what we have. Money can't buy the one thing I would like - better health, but having said that I have a loving family, good friends and have seen a lot of this country of ours so am blessed. Take care and dream away.

Sitting on my desk as I type, is a cheque from Gold Lotto.
Of which half now belong to Dee.
Total value of cheque is a whooping $22.45.
Well as they say..."".little fish a sweet.""
Although I would have preferred a ""whale"" rather than a little fish.
I have been using the same number for over 25 years, with very little return.
Maybe the problem is I have the wrong numbers.... silly me.

Many years ago when they still wrote out lottery tickets by hand, I asked my wife to buy me two $2.00 Jackpot Lottery tickets. The wife, who knew the value of a dollar decided it was a waste to buy two tickets so only bought one. Yep you guessed it, the woman next in line bought a $2 tickets and won the $1,000.000 jackpot!
I haven't bought a ticket since, you only get one chance I reckon.
Forgot to mention, she's now my ex-wife!
Stay safe

About 15 years ago we purchased an old house. When we pulled out the old kitchen cabinets we found an old Opera House lottery ticket that had fallen down behind the splash back. Still have it. We dream it's a winning ticket. The thing is we would rather dream it is than find out it's not!!

YES Dreams do come True.
We have each other + Pidgeon pair.
Grey took the high road and invested $18.35 odd from memory, on Ebay. He Brought A Mattel Bingo barrel
Didn't work to good. Said It did not mix them up proper like.
So he added Some glass marbles and S/S balls.
We all told him he's Marbles.
Grey gets the last laugh. He gets his monies worth having some fun each week.
He keeps quite with a grin on his face when he has a win.
Hands me our lotto ticket and his card and says better go and collect down at the News Agent.
He waits to see the look on my face.
Enough the get me two new pairs of Skechers on sale.
Love him to bits.
He Dreams on, that one DAY!
