I use pillow slips, covers alot for packing.Bought for 10/50c each at a op shop,10 is used to lighten van weight.Covers blankets,clothes,books,shoes,anything-- as they slip/ pack into tight spaces better.Suitcases are hard & rigid & can't fit into small, tight spaces. They also keep items clean & less weight, for little expense

Hi ERI LI, I use pillow slips too for different things and draw string bags I made from a single bed sheet. Never take a suitcase in the motorhome. Cheers.

we didn't need a suitcase as we have plenty of wardrobe space and under bed space until my husband needed to do an emergency flight so now I do take a soft overnight bag for emergencies. Was also handy when he needed to go to hospital for a few days.

I carry a backpack for going walking and to double for emergency bag if we had to fly home quickly. Certainly no suitcases.
