Awesome read and glad you have found a beautiful haven. We travelled through there last year staying at Atherton Mount Malloy then onto Cooktown and back to Ellis Beach before heading slowly south to home. We will miss it this year if we can't travel. Love your photos and the Bird life. Mouthwatering fruits and avocados sound amazing. Glad karma came to you in bucket. Take care Stewart

Great read as usual Cuppa and Mrs Tea. I must say, you take great and interesting pics too. I'm sure you could arrange a bigger TV though.
Keep Safe out there.

Great read C&T.
A couple of places to visit if time or opportunity allows,
Mt Mulligan noth of Dimbulla. Irvinebank West of Herberton, Cooktown Crossing on The Mitchell River North of Mt mulligan.
That Irrigation canal you mentioned flows naturally over the Great Dividing Range from The Tinnaroo Dam and then into the Walsh River, I think.????
Great piece of country and some awesome history from up there.
Our Patrol & Tvan were packed & stocked ready to drive back up Cape York as soon as the roads dried out - but it wasn't to be.
Our Covid -19 Story.
