I am 72, well on my way heading 73. The month just gone was going to celebrate with my son and family home from overseas our 50th Wedding anniversary, so we did it in lock down, just the 2 of us. The way we preferred to do it without the fuss.
So I am along way off.

I was taught the same. But I'm sure you've found, as I have, that they're getting harder and harder to find
Well I am in good company, I hit 75 on Anzac Day, I don't feel it though.
Cheers

Oh Dear! What did the 75 do to deserve getting hit, it certainly means you are still pretty active and agile!
Seriously - Congratulations on your 75th!.

My Father's birthday was 25th April too, though right back in 1910. Unfortunately he passed away in 1955.
I am a young 78 .. 79 next Monday 11 may ... I was born on mothers day 1941. What a great present!
For some reason we always celebrated my birthday on the 12th. That was corrected when I needed my birth certificate for by first job at the age of 14.

Thanks Ian, yes I am one of the fortunate ones so far, quite active both physically and mentally, how long that will last I don't know, unfortunately time is running out!
Hey Cupie, I hope you have a great birthday on Monday!

Richard .. Thanks for the kind wishes. I have a great bottle of red that my DIL gave me at XMAS that I put aside. We will get in a restaurant meal (delivered) and use the best crockery ... perhaps some candles too. LOL
edit ... Now that the restrictions have been eased a bit in Qld, we might even go for a drive & picnic .. what a treat!
