I think that it depended on when it happened The date of the article was 16 April, but did not say when the lady was hospitalised, at the Sir Charles Gardener Hospital
I do remember reading, when Australia did not have enough ventilators, that Doctors complained that they would have to decide, who would get one
I also read that someone in authority, had decided that age 65, would be the cut off age Hopefully we now have enough ventilators

Certainly disturbing, but not entirely unexpected as many times in reports the underlying, and sometimes very clear, message is that we senior members of society are somewhat of a problem. Of course, it may have been a misunderstanding when the lady was admitted as the hospital said, but still a disturbing mistake. Shades of Soylent Green!
