certainly worth a watch, lot of tassie rivers are simular to that. have explored to some extent on the Pieman, Gordon, Arther, they all run through the same terrain and offer perfect reflection. I use to use a 12 foot tinnie.
cheers

Thanks for posting this.
A nice way to spend a little of Good Friday afternoon ... enjoying the efforts of an intrepid hiker in beautiful country. We had a brief glimpse of this area on a tourist boat out of Strahan.
Great location for a bloody big dam & hydro plant hey? LOL. Good on the Greenie Tree huggers & Bob for stopping it.
Off now to prepare our prawns & sand crab ready for dinner with a nice crisp white.
Perhaps I'll replay this on a big screen for SWMBO to enjoy as we eat.
I was particularly impressed with his PackYak and the way he inflated it.

I think that it was one of those that consist of a large envelope bag that you sweep thru the air to fill, then close off the mouth trapping the air and then compress it out thru a one way valve into the blow up kayak.
At least that's my take on it. I have heard of them but never seen or used one.
