I find one of the real joys of caravan life is waking up early in a tranquil place and listening to the birds getting warmed up for the day.
Camped a distance away from me is the leading authority on everything. As the birds start, so does he. He has a voice like a foghorn and barely pauses for breath.
Fortunately, I just heard the sweetest sound. He announced to the world at large he is leaving this morning.
Where do they come from?

After many years, and k's, of caravanning and a period of running Parks I can assure you that every caravan park has one.

Just as a postscript, I sat outside this morning having a cuppa and watching Mr Know It All packing up. As he was leaving, he had the car window down giving advice to people and pointing out a few areas in their set up that needed attention. He managed to proceeed about 50 metres before coming to a stop to also give some other poor unfortunate the wealth of his unlimited knowledge.
As he drove out the gates I could swear I heard a collective sigh from those of us fortunate to be left behind.

Tell you what DMaxer, I'll swap my deafness with you any day, I would appreciate being able to hear that. Those with hearing don't know how well they are getting it.

Yes Iana. I imagine if I had witnessed an horrific accident you would be able to come on here and tell me how lucky I was to have sight unlike a blind person.

I think those of us with hearing aids might have the best of both worlds, It's nice to turn them off sometimes. Of course I wouldn't do that if anyone one hear was talking. Landy
