While on a road trip, an elderly couple stopped at a roadside restaurant for lunch.
After finishing their meal, they left the restaurant, and resumed their trip.
When leaving, the elderly woman unknowingly left her glasses on the table,
and she didn'tmiss them until they had been driving for about forty minutes.
By then, to add to the aggravation, they had to travel quite a distance before they could find a place to turnaround,
in order to return to the restaurant to retrieve her glasses.
All the way back, the elderly husband became the classic grumpy old man.
He fussed and complained, and scolded his wife relentlessly during the entire return drive.
The more he chided her, the more agitated he became.
He just wouldn't let up for a single minute.
To her relief, they finally arrived at the restaurant.
As the woman got out of the car, and hurried inside to retrieve her glasses, the old geezer yelled to her,
While you're in there, you might as well get my hat and the credit card.

I've done that. Left my bank card at the caravan place just east of Wagga , didn't realise till I was near Hay somewhere , they were very helpful and sent it on to a little opal mining town in S.A. where I was headed to . I see that everyone in that town is getting evicted now . Given back to whoever hunted in the area before . Cannot think of the name . There are a lot of retirees there. I was thinking of having a go at mining myself , luckily I didn't. That was over 10 years ago .

I left my new phone on the table of an inner city Mc Donalds a few years ago in Sydney.
I rushed back, not really expecting to see my phone again.
But when I got back several school kids were sitting at the table I left the phone on.
In trepidation I walked up to the table and asked if they had seen an apple phone, they pointed to the phone propped up against the wall at their table.
I thanked them and dropped $20.00 for them top all have a drink on me.
