If she still has that GOLD BAND that you were so proud to give her, you are the lucky one.
In my case SHE ( SWMBO) I jest, has being wearing that gold band for over 57 years, and will continue to do so, until the big fella up above, calls time out.
As for me,I am the lucky one in this case.
Hope many many many others are like us.

Good on ya JayDee that is some achievement ,we're in the same boat ,been together for 48yrs but than we're
probably not as old as you.
Better with the devil you know than the one you don't and the grass is not always greener on the other side of the hill.

Yes I also am one of those more lucky ones, 49 years married but the first 10 or so years was not home much, on the road transporting something over our great land with the truck.
Its something special to be this long together and I am hoping for lots more.
