Introducing ourselves, AS Colin & Jan. [aka auozjan]
We've just taken delivery of our new van, we had a 5th wheeler with an IVECO Tug.
This required a light rigid DL - Hubby decided that he would get something that I would be able to drive & tow unrestricted.
Reason for his decision is he is not well.
Here's the kicker, he's in palliative - Mostly managed by his meds for the moment.
We've sold the home and have settlement 21/10 hope to hit the road soonish after, for a drive from Perth WA heading to Adelaide for Christmas, [family there]
Nice slow trip across. [Dr's reviews willing] If not then just short trips around WA's South West and trips to the Kimberleys.
I'm sure others have done the bucket list trip while not well.

Please tell me your experiences?
Sorry to read about your situation, just thought you may get a better response if this was placed in the general forum.
Best of luck.

I know nothing of palliative care, but I do wish you the very best for the future
Perhaps if you copy and paste your question, into the Health and Wellbeing part of the forum, someone there may have had previous experience
