Hi all, we are taking our grandson to the Adventure Park camp ground in late Sept. Has anyone been there and if so, what's your opining ? also the fishing in the lake(s) good or no so...

Also worthy of consideration, alongside the river at Burrum Heads.
We would pick the waterfront powered sites (#3 to #9) available at $48 per night but other PS are $38. Sites still available which is good too.
I'll put this one on my good spots list for the next time we are up around that way.
(I'd take a supply of mozzie/sand fly repellent)
Oops .. I looked at the beachfront CP in the link on the previous post.
Edit 2 .. Had a look at Adventure Park. Probably great for kids but not what we enjoy. Extra $5 for dump point use a bit much when paying $39/$49 per night though.

For Burrum Area Bushmans repellent is recommended.
Until I learnt my lesson camping on my boat alongside Fraser Island, Wathumba Creek, overnight I used cheaper insect repellent and ended up looking like I had caught the Measles. After that I had camper covers custom made to enclose the stern from half cabin back with zip-out section of cutting board of "no see um" plastic mesh, fine woven and repels water.
