The link doesn't work for me either.
No doubt the intended clip is about Desi's first attempt to reverse the caravan (called 'trailers' in America) into the front yard of one of Lucy's relations. With some ten people all shouting directions at once, no wonder it all goes wrong.
By the way, I love it when they make the first stop at a trailer park and while they do the paper work in the office the manager hops in their car and parks their van on site, connects up the power, water, and drain for them. Wished we had that sort of service in Australia!

That may be the reason people were saying it would not open.

The first you tube reference given by KeviJ is indeed the reversing part of the movie but it is silent with musical background. Without all the shouting and jumping around it loses something.
Am unable to get the other two to work.
The link given by Olive Oil is when they decide to go over a mountain road to save 500-miles. Of course, the mountain road is marked "Not Suitable for Trailers (Caravans)."
For those interested the whole movie is on the Internet and can be watched on your computers. I have the movie in my collection and watch it from time to time.
One thing not obvious is that when Desi picks up the van the tug is fitted with a manual electric brake control lever sticking up on the right side of the steering wheel. As the movie goes on the lever disappears! No doubt that is the reason why the whole lot fails to stop at an intersection and continues rolling half way across the street.
Also, the front of the van has twin dolly wheels to support the weight so there is no weight on the tow bar. Wonder why that is no longer used today?

That's odd that they don't work. Is this better?

The reversing scene is the one with background music. Wonder why the sound of the people shouting and yelling was cut out?
It is cut a bit short as it doesn't show the back of the van demolishing a lean-to on the side of the building! A reason to watch the full movie.

Always
I had a shock to the system a couple of years ago. A couple in their mid eighties pulled up in an old '70's yellow ochre Volvo with a caravan on the back which would have strained the friendship with their car - it was about 6 or 7 metres long. So far so good, eh? They got out of the car and CHANGED PLACES and while he was connecting the power lead and hoses up she backed it in. It seemed like an impossible starting position but she reversed the van to EXACTLY where it needed to be and before you could blink they were all set up and enjoying a cuppa. She reckoned that he was hopeless at backing the van and that she was hopeless at towing and besides she didn't have a licence.
Had a good old yak to them later and it transpires they'd been on the road for 23 years and were only on their second figure eight. Said that they were only 86 and had a bit to see yet. They rang one of their kids each night and told them where they were. Never told them where they were going which avoided the "but you said you were going to..." discussions. Nicest and funniest people we have ever met.
