could you post a better pic of how you attached it to the awning arm

pic 2 is a pretty good one. Basically there is two 25mm flat alluminium (x2) pop rivetted top and bottom which then slide over the awning arm, they have a hole in them drop a stainless bolt though tighten with a wing nut. Just a tip because of the gap between the leg and the arm I pop rivetted two bits of channel to hold the 900mm length solid away from arms otherwise there would be movement when line is being used. hope this helps the van is packed up with a cover on so more picks aren't on for awhile.

Still can't change me from a rope tied onto the guy ropes or a plastic clip rope that the clips are the pegs.

A nicely thought out solution.
Like it.

Good idea. I worry about people walking by hitting their head on things (usually me)
I came up with this idea. High enough to not hit my scone. It normally has two ocky straps for wind bracing

Came up with this. Can handle a few days washing and sheets as well, plus it wont blow over.
