I have been an occasional contributor to this forum over the years, but last year our advancing years caught up with us and we had to hang up the keys.
We accumulated a lot of home movies of our travels. I have taken short clips from some of them to put together videos that I hope others will find of interest. They are on a platform called Vimeo, and for now I have made them private, meaning they can only be viewed by following the links below. Not sure what to do next, if any of you have experience with this sort of thing I would appreciate advice!
This is a six minute video showing the range of options for overnight stays:
https://vimeo.com/344484329/d8e86c94e5
This is much longer, 35 minutes. This shows daytime rest stops with views and somewhere to have a stretch.
https://vimeo.com/344449251/a5d28b00ef
My main concern that this one might be too long, and that there may be problems streaming it if people do not have very fast connections. Vimeo seems to have the facility to enable people to download the videos but I have not tried it.
If people like these I have ideas for a few more....
Thanks to you all
Geoff

Thanks for sharing.
You have done a great job. I just wish that I had been as diligent as you.
Brings back memories of places that I have been & ideas for future stop overs.

As a newbie I found the 1st video quite useful.
That is this one ....

Thanks for these, well worth watching You can download from vimeo, it gives you the option of what resolution you require Screen shot of the 35 minute clip
Have worked out how to use Vimeo, have started a new topic on Travel Blogs with additional movie and note about downloading smaller files, should help people on the road with limited limited capacity to download large files.
