Ok!!! I made a mistake by buying a Kogan 12 volt TV. BIG MISTAKE.
We are experiencing very very very poor sound from our van TV.
Can anyone offer any advice as to how we may be able to fix this problem.
Nice to have good TV reception when on the road.
Over time we have now purchased 4 Electronic type products from Kogan.
Kogan as a only internet sales company are impossible to have a verbal conversation.
WE WILL NEVER AGAIN HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS KOGAN MOB.
Just our experience ... you may have enjoyed better results.
Any help with the sound would be great.

Have you thought of getting a small 'sound bar' that can connect to the earplug socket or another way, John.
As you know I am solo so a different set of rules but at night if watching TV or Netflix on the TV I always listen through a good quality set of earplugs. That way I can have the volume to suit the show/movie. I also get stereo sound though them as the TV can produce stereo sound, so even better.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

As said a good sound bar , it hijack some PC speakers ? Fit them closer to where your watching TV so sound doesn't need to be too high , Low watt speakers are ideal, find turning base down a little turning higher up helps hearing talking ,

all small tvs have crap sound, have you tried doing a custom eq in the sound menu? otherwise , what we do when watching a movie etc is plug in powered speakers to the headphone output of the tv, then you can control volume that way via the tv remote

We use a UE Boom, plugs into the earphone socket, can Bluetooth it to other devices. Really good sound.
I agree with the UE sound quality. Use it in our office for good quality internet radio listening.

Fiddled around with the sound menu and we have a better reception.
Will still follow up re speakers and earphones.

If you have a radio inbuilt in your van, you could run an auxiliary cable from your TV to the radio and have the sound come through the radio speakers, I have done this and have excellent stereo sound. Cables cost about $4 on Ebay.
