Hi Joda, the Pajero sport is great for towing it had a 3.5 tone capacity and plenty of grunt. It is basically a triton chasis with much more comfortable suspension and all the luxuries of an SUV. I would not swap it for anything short of a discovery, but I could not afford a new disco whereas the sports was affordable to me. It is also pretty dood on fuel when not towing I get better than 8l/100km on the open road. I think you can get a 24 hour test drive from Mitzi dealers.
Cheers

gday Phil & Jools
A very big welcome to the forum we hope you enjoy your time with us,
Interested to see you are towing a real big van with the pajero sport.
I have been researching the PS for some time and will eventually replace current pajero with one.
