Interesting read and great photo's. With regards to the 25 pounder's I believe that many of them have never seen active service but were manufactured well into 1945 to use up componentry and used as training guns for all district camps.

I'm relatively new to all this - travelling, towing, blogs and so on. Making mistakes. Learning (slowly).
Part time solo travel so far, mainly on sealed roads.
