I don't have a fly/security door, just one of those magnetic curtains. When I am around or in residence I normally have main door open.
The other day I was parked on side of road and up the back lying on bed reading a book. I went to get a drink out of fridge and looked out front window to see a snake slithering across road and up bank and into scrub. It got me thinking that when I am up the back of my bus I can't see what is happening at the entry step at entry door and wondered if anyone has every had any animals apart from flys and bugs just wander in because they could? Just curious.

In a drovers camp in Qld we had a horse decide he wanted to come in the caravan for a look - fills up the van rather quickly.

Had a native mouse in the pantry drawer once. Took a real liking to the rolled oats & the powdered chocolate for on top of the coffee. Bill

How could you tell he was native? Did he have a little feather, or a collar saying he was one of Dougwe's braves?

Probably left dot paintings laying around.

Had bush rats in the bed with us in a camper at Tewah Beach. Van next door at Kings Canyon had a dingo inside going through the rubbish bin. Lots of warning signs about the dingos at Kings Canyon.

Was in a hut on one of Packers cattle stations in the Kimberlys and a python came in through the air conditioner , next thing a King Brown came through chasing it , python went out the door and the brown saw me and went back . Didn't sleep in there that night ! Pulled everything apart next day and found him in the wall.

Sister in law living in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide found a koala in her upstairs bathroom a couple of years ago, no great drama, she shepherded it out and down the stairs back into the bush.
Was perhaps looking for water, summer months, dry and hot.

Just home from helping out friends' for a few days, walked into the bathroom, and there sitting on top of the Toilet Seat, was a beautiful 2' Childrens' Python.
Needless to say, he/she was put outside safely, albe-it in the rain.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Gday...
Unwanted visitors? ... YEAH, I have found heaps of them at far too many of the camps I have had over the years when moving about up north.
The biggest annoyance is the caravans they drag behind them.
