Nice spot Jugiong, Ron. There is a donation box next to the toilet block out front. There is a great pub across the road and if you like a beer you have to try the 'Three Sheets' on tap. The cafe next door is good too.
Wagga Wagga, keep everything locked even when you are around. There is a crime wave as we speak. From there you could slip across to Lochart. I am visiting there myself at some stage myself.
Not sure what direction you want then.
I am in Young for a while yet.

Also a great memorial at Jugiong near the toilet block and donation block. It is a modern art sculpture regarding Police who have been killed while on duty.
See www.aircamp.com.au/l/ac/wagga-wagga/free nice free camps around Wagga.

Ron-D,
Excuse me but I'm following up on Doug's post.
Doug, (& anyone else heading toward Mackay, Townsville, Ingham or Cairns)
I'm certain your daughter would have filled you in about Townsville - ensure your rig is well & truly locked when you come up, that your keys are kept somewhere secure & not just on the kitchen table, etc.

Thanks Warren. You are correct that my Daughter has let me know, we speak a few times a week. I will make sure that both security and outside door is locked along with windows when I go out when up there this year. Late May Early June is the plan.
The lady next door to my daughter even had a couple of young kids go inside the house while her and her 11 year old granddaughter that lives with her were asleep. They actually went into both bedrooms too. Took her hand bag and car keys, went outside and took the car and took it for a joyride along with another group of kids with another stolen car and rammed into each other wrecking both cars.
Sorry to go off topic into different area Ron.

Jugiong - Richie Benaud when to school there -his father was the headmaster
Yes -the pub is great although I do not fully agree with their choice of beer on tap
