The news is getting better, exactly 3 years this month when I was diagnosed with cancer The dreaded Abdominal Snowman.
Last week I went to see my Oncologist and Got happy results. He doesn't need to see me for another year.
Same time next year.
Have a couple of issues I have to deal with. The first being neuropathy which is nerve damage in my legs and feet caused by the chemo. Can't walk very far these days. No medication, maybe some physiotherapy .
Diverticulitis has worsened. Still have to work out how to deal with that one.
Now on my way back to Sapphire and hopefully give Mike a break from the claim and the dogs
Have booked in for the Barcaldine World record attempt at end of May.
Hope to see you there

That is really great news HW, we are hoping to get clearance from the oncologist
to allow us 4 months away. Hopefully we'll be in Sapphire in July.

I'm green with jealously nearly 3 years and I'm still on 3 month roadworthy's, cea still to high. If you find a solution to the sand and bullants in your feet please post it, 8 months of chemo has destroyed both my feet. Duloxetine sort of works ( or it does for me ).
Enjoy life now.
Cheers Bass

I'm sorry to read this Bass, I wish I had the answer
I do take doses of Tumeric and also Magnesium of which I also have a spray. When it's really bad will spray and rub into my feet. I feel my hands are having a problem now, never been told that could happen.
Keep working on it and try different things, something will eventually make a difference I'm hoping.

Thanks everyone. I certainly feel more sound of mind than I was.
Just enjoy each day
Back at Sapphire as of today, enjoying the pups and all the birds and wild animals who come to visit.

Bass, I'm sorry I meant to also say, my Oncologist Dr Steven Lane said No medication can fix it. He suggested I get my doctor to arrange visits to physio.
He would have arranged it for a clinic in Brisbane but I'm too far away.
He did say thats the only treatment that may help.
