Hi everyone my name is Wendi. I have just purchased and renovated a 23ft motorhome and intend to live and travel with my dog Sophie. Will be leaving the goldcoast in about a month and probably staying at Kirra so I can have a good practice. From there I have no particular plans but would love some feedback and advice on how to live as a solo nomad. Looking forward to chatting.

Welcome to the gang Wendy, enjoy here and out in the playground.
I have been in the playground solo for many moons now and I find it works well. I never feel lonely as I make an effort to speak to other travillers, solo or otherwise. There are heaps of solo ladies and men out here so you will come across many as you move around.
Don't be afraid to ask any questions in the appropriate sections of this great forum. Most people are friendly and helpfull.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

G'day Wendi (aka Nowornever) and welcome to the forum. Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit. I reckon that 'no plan' is the best plan :)

A warm welcome from me, nowornever (Wendy)
I have just completed a three month trip, and came across plenty of solo travellers, in the free/donation/low cost camps
would love some feedback and advice on how to live as a solo nomad
In reply to the above question, my mode of operation, travelling either solo, or with my wife is:-
Say hello to a few people, near to your site There are plenty of good travellers out there, who will help, where they can
It becomes a sort of mobile neighbourhood watch, where genuine people look out for each other
