I'm flabbergasted. Yep, my flabber is well and truly gasted!! Just received the annual renewal notice from RACV insurance to discover the premium is exactly the same as last year's - not a cent different. I'm pretty positive this is the first time I've ever had a renewal on ANY insurance policy that hasn't increased year on year. Nothing else has changed either, except the van is another year older but still covered for the same agreed value. Admittedly I get a damned good premium (compared with the alternatives) as a RACV Gold member, plus a 60% no claims discount, but I had those benefits last year too.

Good news, Tony.
I think our insurances will rise this year even though we are unaffected so far with the flooding (Townsville).

No doubt you're right Warren, I'm sure insurance co's eventually make us pay the 'cost' of extreme weather events wherever they are. Anyway, hope you're staying safe in all that water - just a pity some of it can't be piped down this way!
