These are on sale for $89 next week. Has anyone used one of these and are that any good? They look smaller and lighter than the BabyQ.

I have a Gasmate one which is the same. Very happy with it and as you say a lot lighter than the big brand ones . The heaviest part is the cast iron plates which I have found an aluminium plate in a camp store and I use it. Plenty of heat for roasts etc

We have one of the BBQ's - works OK, not fantastic, very lightweight, hard to clean. Sill prefer our "tin" BBQ using Briquettes.

got one of the gasmates. been happy with it.
I do most of my cooking inside the van though.
A mate has one and thinks it's ok. Never heard him rave about it but haven't heard him complain about it either.
It's not quite as well made as my gasmate but it still works fine. Very light and a little flimsy I though.
Plus the lid isn't as high, so I can imagine it limits you a little if you want to do a roast or the like. don't quote me though but something to consider.
He hooks it up to his onboard gas and even with the 2 regulators inline, it still seems to work, much to my surprise and advice otherwise.
A mate had issues with his webber in the same configuration and it just didn't like the 2 regs between it and the gas.
cheers Brettr

I'll have a close look at them on Saturday. Sounds like it should do the the job.
