Hi all, I'm sorry to say that I will be unable to do any more reporting on Fires or other Emergencies for some time,
I've just returned home from Hospital and the news isn't good,
Prostate Cancer is a hell of a thing, I don't wish it on anyone,
So if there is anyone willing to fill my place for the foreseeable future, in the roll of reporting on any Emergency in the name of safety for all our readers please take the reins.
Cheers for the time being, keep safe people , we hope to be back on the road someday, with a hell of a lot of luck.

Not good news KJ, Unfortunately I no longer get notices from SES and RFS and only get some Police info from friends via Facebook. I'm sure there must be someone out there still getting regular updates.
There is an Elders weather Alert which is often retty accurate, not for fires though. All the best to you though

What awful news KJ, hope it isn't too advanced and you'll be back on the road soon. Best wishes for the future.

All the best with the Prostate Cancer, KJ
I am not the one to send out the alerts, as all things being equal, I do not usually go on line, while travelling

Stay strong, and good luck. Wayne has just got the all clear so far after his second battle with prostate cancer. We have been on the road for 4 months so far and are making the most of our time wandering Oz.

For any one that has the time to carry on with Jim's advice/warnings you can download apps from Australian Govt at www.australia.gov.au/information-and-services/public-safety-and-law/emergency-services
even if you wish to only get emergency advices for yourself you can download the apps to you device/s.
All the best Jim.
