Thanks G, memories came flooding back of a good movie. 'Paint your wagon' Some good songs came out of that one. Remember 'I talk to the trees' by Clint Eastwood. Not that long after his Rowdy Yates days. Yep, good songs.

Agreed Doug, I would have thought Johnny Preston's, 'Running Bear and Little White Dove' would have had you stretching your tonsils mate....

Always thought I sounded quite good doing this, although not sure I would want to hear a recording of me!

I don't have a particular favourite song but wherever we have travelled in OZ or OS we have taken our own music with us and I find myself often singing along to it when driving. Sometimes a particular song will stay in my head and I keep hearing it over and over all day, one that comes to mind only recently was Zombie by the Cranberries. Recently I put around 100 of my CDs onto a single thumb drive which I plug into a USB port in the car and utilise the audio system via the infotainment screen - I guess it's unlikely that we will ever run out of things to sing along with..
Whitney Houston's 'I'll Always Love You is another one that tends to get stuck in my head and replay over and over again...she had a fantastic voice in her heyday.
Cheers BB
Sorry a couple of typos I had to fix

STOP IT. STOP IT. STOP IT.
It's all too much listening to likes 'Convoy' 'Willee Nelson' 'John Williamson'.
I can't take any more. The tunes will not leave my head.

Or for something a little bit different.
This is played/requested on our local community radio station (KLFM, Bendigo) with regular monotony and I find it a real earworm (songs you cant get out of your head).

I enjoy singing this one while having a shave in the morning in a CP amenities block.

For some strange reason other blokes look at me a bit weird?
I like singing too, when I ask for requests, they keep yelling out,can you sing "Far,far away".
