If roker's most recent posts on this thread are indicative of his future posts, he has found out how to use his 'new keyboard/laptop' and the repetitive full-stops have disappeared.
I don't think roker is, or has been, an idiot. One does not need to draw unnecessary derogatory conclusions.

Be.happy.it.is.not.full.stops.and.red.text.which.is.quite.difficult.to.read.on.a.lot.of.screens!
I personally do find the full stops make the text quite difficult to read.
