the beloved actor suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized in Florida earlier today. He passed away this morning, September 6, 2018. Reynolds underwent heart surgery in 2010.
Reynolds was known for his work in classic films such as Deliverance, Smokey and the Bandit, and The Longest Yard. Reynolds was currently filming Once Upon a Time in Hollywood with Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Leonardo DiCaprio. His film Defining Moments is scheduled to be released in December of this year.

Two of his best were replayed on Friday night. Even watched the end of the second ' Smokey ' AFTER THE MIGHTY DEES WON". nearly 1 am to bed

My grandson saw the tributes to Burt and decided I had to find him Smokey. Never knew there are 3 in the series although Burt is not in #3.
