This has probably been covered a few times already but Im keen to hear what apps everyone is using. We use, Wikicamps, Fuelwatch, Fuelmap, Hema explorer, and Gasfinder. Are there any others worth using?

Spotify , Facebook / messenger ( for phoning/ video chat with the kids ) and also have podcast apps for listening to a variety of things while driving long distances
Also have Wiki etc

These free apps are great to identify animal/birds/plants on your travels. They cover every State. Great for those that enjoy Nature.
I recently did an update on the Caltex app and it now includes "fuel pay" where at participating servo's you pay at the pump from your phone. 6 cpl discount on the first 3 fills. It is quick and convenient. A tax invoice is sent to the nominated email address.

Gasfinder (to find cheapest swap/refill in your area) Maps.me (free offline maps worldwide), Night Sky (identify planets, stars & constellations in the sky(where else)), Geocaching, Translate (as name suggests, translate text to english & vica verca), Stocard (keep all your cards in a digital format for ease of use) , Recipebook, Buy me a pie (shopping list), Emergency+, WhatsApp, Polar Steps (family can track your travels) Radios (stream a choice of radio stations to your car/any bluetooth radio.
I have more but they are specific to my needs.

I second Maps.me I used it in Oman, the UAE and now back here in Australia as soon as you change countries it picks up your location and asks if you want to download the relevent maps - the best thing is that it's free and once downloaded onto your device you don't need an internet connection to use it.

Yes, me. I work with the Camps app and Wiki. Bets of both worlds.
I also have the BOM, Weatherzone, WilliWeather apps to keep an eye on the weather. Also, Telstra to keep an eye on my data. ICE with emergency details for if needed. myGov, to keep and eye on things. Gasfinder to locate LPG for the TeePee. ABC, to keep up with news. The TV apps, to watch catch up TV if I want. AusPost, to check on any mail I am waiting on. My Banks app, to keep and eye on my money and do on-line banking. My credit card provider app, to keep and eye on that.
I use all those apps on a regular basis.

As I said Ger, I use both. Usually check Camps first then fine tune via Wiki by reading not just the first few comments but many then look at the pics and prices if any then make my mind up.
To answer your last question, I find Camps worth the small cost to purchase and worth having, saves a big book sitting next to you adding to the weight, yeh I know, not worth thinking about but every gram adds. That all said I think Wiki is probably just a little better. Wiki relies on US the user to keep it up to date and most do the right thing but a few put wrong info in. The reason I read more than the first few comments. I get annoyed with photo's of families and dogs etc, I'm more interested in what does the camp/van area actually look like. Some info on what is around the area is good as well, POI.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

My favourite apps are Wikicamps, Sygic offline GPS, and Poi Pocket (only on Android). The best bit is they all integrate together and work seamlessly to find all my POI's and campsites.
Another great feature is my in dash entertainment system and Samsung S8 phone use the same apps and I only have to learn one operating system. Check out link below
