Hi everyone, I am looking for a recommendation for a "truckies" app to suit Android tablet and phone (doesn't necessarily need to be a free app). The information I am chasing is for the following:
Maps, truck routes, low bridges, etc. Truck and fuel stops with overnight stays, showers, food. City parking places. Toilet stops on major highways
Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you. Paul.

I found when I was in the industry a site as you described was sadly lacking.
Plenty of USA info but not much for Australia.
Anyway this may be a start.
From memory: the app is free but you must buy maps for different countries, Aus/NZ is A$25. There is also a "Truck" add-on which iirc is A$5.
I have been using it (car navigation only) for six months or so and have found it to be very good, the odd quirk but nothing which merits complaint.
I believe I did a short review of it in the "General" section of this forum.

Hi Paul, have a look at Sygic, I use the Sygic GPS Navigation Premium. There is also a truck version, but there are ongoing costs. Check out my blog page in link below, not all sygic but it will give you an idea
Navman releases first-ever GPS device dedicated to truck drivers
My Truck will be a welcome product by the many drivers who criss-cross Australian cities and highways and offers routes suitable to larger B-Double trucks and even HAZMAT (hazardous materials) restricted vehicles.
My favorite bear bug would be low bridges. Not sure if it goes that far. Still it may be useful for a large amount of info.

Consider the navigation app. Igo:
